oh my god

Ah yes, i am actually up at 3am but that's only because i suddenly fell asleep at 9:30pm and am now feeling so refreshed. Oh dear but i will edit my WL2/continue footnoting now and sleep at 4am. And i'm so sorry to everyone i didn't reply to on msn after 9:30 !!

Don't worry, i'll be getting enough sleep for once.

I want to advertise Nadia's blog because i am thrilled that my love for blogging has managed to inspire others into creating a blog of their own. Her first post is good so i hope that you continue to follow her blog.

On a more personal note, i'd like to say that ... HAHA I HAVE FINISHED WORLD LIT 2 !!!! FINALLY !!! after a week's delay !! And every word was so painful yet almost fun to write .. oh dear what am i saying english essays will always ruin me.

But now i feel prepared for the English Exam for Doll's House at least :) btw Helmer, you are a fat cow.

Today i finished WL2, did 3 hours of maths, walked, ate and slept early at 9:30pm. SUCCESS.

Except i need to pee. And i didn't get start more of that never ending geography hw. GAH

It's freezing and i'm wearing shorts. SIGH

Year 12 is ending soon. I'm scared.

Melba Hall Concerto Concert:
Well done everyone :) Especially Ying, Joan, Vicky and Steph !!! You all looked so hot ;) Holst was rushed but it was pretty good considering we hadn't rehearsed it and i really liked Melba Chorale's singing. I have no idea what L'oiseau Lyre i can't even spell it was singing though haha. There was a possum in the organ but i didn't get to see it run across the stage.

Biology lunch + scientist:
We talked gentics and recombinant technology. Lunch was 6 pizzas, icecream, hot chips, milo, tea and coffee and we had to disinfect the biology lab beforehand. Felt so fat :) We used the pipette they use in real labs and pipetted alcohol and something else in a capsule. Invert the capsule and you can see threads of DNA forming fromt he precipitate. hehe . How come we didn't get to do that in year 10 !!! ==' Had to leave early for Melba Hall rehearsal though.

World Lit 2:
Why is it that i forget my book the weekend before WL2 (real thing) is due? WHY WHY whatever i will go scout the internet now.

Lol today was eventful. did bio prac. then chem prac. titrating tetraamine copper sulphate.

i want these dresses. $39 and $19 respectively. But i'll only get the black mini one if its not stiff material. And when i lose like 5kg. which will be never. cos i cbf.Why is it called "Mini Dress" when it doesn't even look Mini? even my cgs dress rides up higher.... 15cm higher... :O

Lol doesn't that remind of the Blue Dress story in year 9 ??? I wrote about a girl who had an invisible friend and wore a blue dress. and the girl got depressed and forgot she was allergic to cheese so she absent mindedly ate it in her depression and well ... died. LOL but i think i ended it rather touchingly :)

Hey guys just thought i'd quickly remind everyone that i'm still alive.. well this blog. metaphorically..

MHS formal was the best formal i've ever been to! Thanks heaps Steve :) If you haven't seen pictures yet go stalk my facebook. Awesome venue, good food, great atmosphere and hurray for dancing and coming out half deaf.

Laura and i are making crepes atm.. and 2am is suddenly my new bedtime for me... been sleeping at that time for 4 days in a row so far... and still feel fine. not healthy. but sometimes i just stay up for the sake of it, not because i'm rushing to finish homework.

Sometimes i wish i lived in a penthouse. I want to lie in bed and gaze at the stars all night and think of chocolate fountains. But if the moon shines in my face i'll get annoyed.

I can't sleep with the light on.

But ours had long died out.

Had chem test today. pretty good but a tad long. finished justttttttttt in time though. Studying for English orals now ... i'm going to wag REC tomorrow to continue revising

Midterm Break

I'M BACK ! After a 1 week hiatus...

Well i can say that i'm feeling so much better about work now. I can almost see the end and this time i'm in better control of my homework. =='' so now the only major internals left for me are World Lit 2, English Orals, 2x Design Bio pracs, Type 2 math portfolio... etc.

Why is it that everything this week counts around 25% ????

My week...
Monday - Midterm break. Wrote up a 3 page plan for WL2 (10%) and started portfolio... and ate every hour.
Tuesday - Handed in chem design prac, finished 10 page maths portfolio. my hand hurts took me the whole day oops. Had Senior Strings and Symph Orch.
Wednesday - Do more WL2, start prepping for English Orals , Chem test, start the bio pracs...
Thursday - Maths test? More WL2, more prep for English Orals
Friday - Maths test? ENGLISH ORALS (15%), finish/hand in my WL2 draft, MHS formal

I've also been eating 13 strepsils a day.. plus these yellow capsules.. But i'm recovering now woot. The other night my sister made pumpkin scones and i also stayed up till 3am finishing my TOK + geog essay on Shanghai's manufacturing industry and environmental loss...

I hope this blogpost is enough to make up for the last week. We played in the Melbourne Senior Strings Festival on thursday too .. at Monash Uni .. Both a competition and a master class. We didn't play our best but it was pretty good still.

I don't feel like talking. I don't want to open my mouth. I keep on exiting msn convos. All i do is eat. I get annoyed by nearly everyone because suddenly everything seems stupid.

I'm beyond complaining about schoolwork. I'm just dealing with it now since this is what i got for doing IB - don't even talk to me about VCE.

I think after next friday i'll be normal again =D

Monash Open Uni Day
- was playing 2square with bouncy ball we made in engineering and then karen bounced it into a stranger's bag... chased after her to get my ball back rofl. all you people laughing at me lmao
- got freebies aka teddybear, note pads, speakers, etc
- saw lots of people. lots lots
- checked out Med, Arts, Law, Commerce, Engineering... last two was just bumming
- came home and napped for 3 hours.

What got confirmed today...
- Med (Monash): haahhahahaaa so unlikely i'll get into this one but here's hoping
- Arts/Law: i need 98 at least so thats 39 in IB. yeah okay
- Arts/Science: 85? dunno
- i cbf .
- i want a 42 at least. that's 99.7? anything above is just too beyond me. my TOK is going to fail me... so is HL chem if i don't lift my game.

School starts again tomorrow. i really cbf. but i have TOK, String Festival, WL2, math portfolio, prepare English Orals due soon............ cbf

Midterm coming weekend. One more day of sleeping in.
