I made a Manchester United pillowcase for Farn's christmas present :) He also gave me this cute froggy bin and a new necklace yayyyyy i promise to never lose this one eeeeeeh 

I have to finish packing now.

I also leave you with a disgusting picture of the mozzie bites i got at our annual Christmas Street party. They still haven't completely disappeared.... 

I feel so broke :( But then i went op shopping to cure my guilt (hmm....) and bought a dress for only $2! And two leather knee hi boots which Laura has been strutting around in for only $5 each. 

Okay, that's all i have to say. Thank you everyone for making 2010 a really special year for me and i hope 2011 is even better :)  

strange sightings

For those who don't know, i'll be heading to Darwin for two weeks from Christmas Eve onwards. I don't know what to expect but it looks like thunderstorms in 30 degree weather for the weekend. I heard they have great food up there though so they better be ready for my stomach and increasing palette. 

Do you know what i miss? I miss those book fairs we had in primary school. For one or two weeks a mini book shop would set up in the library and back then (grade 5) i was so obsessed with Max Remy Super Spy and bought the whole series. I also bought a lot of other books too. In fact, i'm waiting on "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom at the moment from BookDepository.  

...I also miss Harold the Giraffe and that colourful van. Remember that/them???????

Today, i looked out the window on the bus and saw a guy with his right hand on the steering wheel and his left hand all the way up his girlfriend's thighs..... LOL And then i arrived at shoppo and walked past two women hugging so closely that one started sliding her hand up the other's shirt. 

.....okkkkkayyyyyyyy then.  LOL

I wonder why people bother putting up the "Child on Board" sign. What difference is it going to make? Will every parent drive slower? Will everyone else drive more cautiously around them? In fact, i think i'd end up crashing instead by trying to see if there actually is an infant on board. Maybe i should pin "Giraffe on Board" or something next to my P plate and see what happens. What if someone had "Dangerous Driver on Board"?

Just a random thought in the day of Froggy. 

I had a dream we all decided to steal something from a salad bar and i got caught stealing a humongous piece of Nando's grilled chicken. 

Do you really know what you want to do when you grow up? I don't even have a Plan B as of yet. Yet alone a great Plan A. 

who's on cloud nine?

I got lost on the way to the Christmas staff party today... i didn't realise i only had to turn off Burwood Road so i kept going up Power Street and turned right into Richmond.... oops. I panicked for a bit but Melway and short term memory saved the day and i still wasn't late hurray!

People who have no respect for others but themselves make me so angry. I suddenly see them as very undeserving people and don't want to help them anymore. How do you fix this/their problem?

I'm also trying to cut back on the spending... by only buying what i really, really need. But $19.95-$29.95  dresses on sale from Dotti are always welcome :D

save me from boredom

Today, Farn and I went to Secret Recipe in Melbourne Central (behind upstairs Nandos). We decided on Tiramisu cheesecake and New York Cheese cake with Chamomile tea on the side. I have no idea why they gave us milk with it... I think my interest in chamomile began when i read Peter Rabbit books as a child...

Except nothing sparked my curiosity more than Butterbeer... i mean, who wouldn't like that??? So i had to substitute Butterbeer with Kirks Cream Soda and became a fat kid. The End. 

Okay not really. I got fat from eating too much in general, not by drinking a soda i wasn't even allowed near. 

I got a side fringe again... and thinned my hair. Most of my split ends have been trimmed away and i have found Sunsilk Soy Protein Shampoo again!!!!! In the Reject Shop in Box Hill !!!!! For only $4 !!!!!! YAYYYYYYYY ... but i still have not bought it. HMMM

Christmas Staff Party tomorrow... should be interesting. I also bought the book "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen for only $3.95 today :) Hurray for the $20 credit when you sign up for Borders v.i.p membership for free hehe. But i will always love BookDepository  the most!!! 

There's also this new fake grass but real vegetable garden area in the Myer section on Level 2 of Melbourne Central. It's nice to chat, take photos or sleep there :)

arghhhhhhh so many things have annoyed  me today.

Take the sequel to Chocolat (The Girl with No Shadow - Joanne Harris) for instance. This zozie lady is pissing me off right from the start !! I can't believe i have to trudge my way through this book now because of her...

Laura and i made Mango and Coconut Milk Pudding the other day :)

I think i'll be generous and compensate my infrequent blogging with a detailed account of my week.

Monday: I spent the day with Farn and went bikini  shopping. It was really humid that day.. so we decided to go to MSAC to play in the wave pool and on the waterslide :D We also managed to pay child instead of adult fare and I saw too many hairy men in speedos. Bad sight... 

 This is just Spaghetti with Mushroom and Turkey. I didn't have any tomatoes, tomato paste or cream for the sauce so i just sweated down the mushrooms in chicken stock and pasta water to add some flavour to the dish. The cheese helped too.

Tuesday: Why is it that i can never remember Tuesday...?

Wednesday: Again, not much to report. I think i went to Body Attack that night and suddenly woke up at 4am because I thought someone outside my room was going to murder me.

..... Anyway.

Thursday: Farn and I went to Jells Park to eat fish and chips for lunch.. The tim tams also melted in the car so we tried using the aircon to solidify them... This man also parked next to us and kept watching us for ten minutes straight... errr....

We also walked through giant puddles on the way to Chesterfield Farm but didn't feel like spending $11 just to feed the animals so we walked back. The roosters look so squishy to hug though hehehe. And it was a bad idea to wear sandals in puddles.

Hmm.. so we met Farn's duck family.

Although I'm not sure if they accepted him.... rofl look at the duck swimming away from him.

Friday: I went to Zumba and then shoppo for dinner, Megamind movie and Pancake Parlour for supper. I also stayed up to 3am finishing Hunter x Hunter and am now onto Greed Island.

What anime should i watch next?


Oh, and i changed my breadth subject too.

 I think my parents have caught the travel bug. They're leaving Laura and I at home next Easter to go around the world in 1-2 weeks (o.O) and mum insists on taking us to Kuala Lumpur next holiday because she suddenly saw cheap tickets on AirAsia.

Well i don't mind haha.

I HAVE SO MANY MOZZIE BITES THAT IT'S NOT FUNNY. ARGH. 

Monday: I had work and cleaned out the bathroom cabinets.

Tuesday: I helped mum out, picked Laura up from school and i can't remember anymore....

Wednesday: I went to the city with Kristen for some present shopping!! It was raining... and two of my buses home didn't come so i thought i would be super late for Farn's birthday dinner with him and his family... but i wasn't yay! In fact... i was early :D vroom vroom parked in Nunawading station. Dinner was nice i liked the eggy mock crab meat thing :D

Thursday: I helped mum at work, listened to that epic thunderstorm, picked Laura up from school, got stuck in traffic, went back to school for staff meeting and i got the two movie vouchers below :D yay!

Friday: Today i went to Aquarena for group exercise class and then drove to Dot's house to eat lunch at Spicy Fish and make Apple Crumble with Vanilla Icecream :DDDDD YAY success
